Steve Russo holds a Bachelor in Music Education at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA, and a Master of Arts in Music from California State University, Sacramento. Now in his 30th year as a professional trumpet player.

Steve is not only an accomplished classical trumpet player, he is equally at home as a jazz and commercial musician.  He has played lead trumpet for the United States Air Force Band (solo & principal trumpet), Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus (10 years in Sacramento), Gregg Allman, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Drifters, The Shirelles, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Julius La Rosa, Jo Ann Castle, Lin Biviano, Stan Mark, Artey Shaw, and Diane Schuur.

As a professional musician/teacher, Steve is in demand as a an adjudicator / clinician throughout northern California and for the California Music Educators Association.
